CUPE LOCAL 4504
CUPE Local 4504 represents 100 employees of Forward House of London. Local 4504 and it's members are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality in the support we provide to the individuals at the agency. Local 4504 was founded in the spring of 2001 with an interest in providing workers with the opportunity to voice their concerns and influence their workplace through free demonstrate trade unionism. Since this time the local has negotiated four contracts (the current contract expires March 31, 2010) with the goal of securing adequate renumeration and working conditions for it's members. Local 4504 is committed to encouraging the settlement of any disputes between it's members and the employer through negotiation and mediation.

CUPE Local 4504 has an active committee structure. Without committees our union would not run, it’s how we do most of our work! We rely on members to volunteer to help on these committees and it provides another avenue for members to participate in the union’s democracy.
