The next general meeting(s) of the Local are scheduled for 1000 and 1630 hrs on Tuesday June 3rd 2025.  The meetings will be held in the 3rd floor boardroom at 350 Oxford Street West.

Ratification vote Results

The bargaining committee are pleased to announce that the membership of CUPE Local has voted to ratify the proposed collective agreement between Forward House of London and the union.

Highlights of the new agreement include:

• 2.5% wage increase in the first year for all employees, retroactive to April 1, 2025
• Health and Wellness Accounts for all employees, beginning in the second year of the agreement
• A new statutory holiday: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30)
• Double time and a half pay for staff working on December 25th and January 1st (previously time and a half)
• Improved bereavement leave to now include brother-in-law and sister-in-law

The new collective agreement will be updated to reflect all agreed-upon items and will be made available in the near future.
